• Baked in limited quantities by Trappist monks at Assumption Abbey, nestled in the foothills of the Missouri Ozarks, this exceptional fruitcake is based on a recipe developed by French chef Jean-Pierre Augé, who was once employed by the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Made using pure butter, fresh eggs, raisins, pineapple, currants, citron, walnuts and wine, the cake turns out dark and spicy, with deep, rich flavor and a moist crumb – and laced with just an ounce of rum.
