Use
- Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
- Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal and glass.
- It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone, as other blades can be easily damaged.
Care
- Dishwasher safe. However, we recommend hand-washing with warm water and mild detergent for best results. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Use honing steel regularly to maintain cutting edge of blade.
- Sharpen as needed. With regular use and honing, knife should not need sharpening more than once or twice per year.
- Sharpen knife using sharpener specifically designed for serrated blade, or have it sharpened by a professional.
- Store knife in safe place to protect edge and prevent injury.

Excellent Muti-purpose Knife

Zwilling knives are the best and this one is my go-to for any purpose where a large, serrated, knife is appropriate. The knife has a good weight and is well made. I bought this one for our beach house because I was tired of using an inferior knife there.
