Adorable Kettle

I’ve had this kettle in black checks for years. It always draws comments from visitors because it’s so unique and eye catching. My daughter has mentioned a few times that she wants one. So I bought her the same large size kettle in gray for her birthday. It looks fabulous in her mostly gray home and she LOVES it!

Wrong color/design

I ordered requested the grey/white teapot. When I got home a solid red teapot was in the box! Took it back and was told that no more checkered pots were available. Took the red but was not pleased with it for a special Christmas gift.

Lovely Art

The kettle was lovely but it is not for tea drinkers who need a daily workhorse to make the morning tea. It has no whistle, so you need to babysit it; it is not as easy to pour as one might wish due to balance point when full; it requires extra caution like a pad to hold it and awareness of steam when pouring. In short, it looks fantastic on the stovetop and if you are only going to occasionally use it, it’s a wonderful functional piece of art. I use a pot more than once a day and therefore, sadly, had to return this one
