Use
- For use with water only. Never boil other liquids in the kettle.
- Do not open lid during operation. Boiling water could splash from the kettle.
Care
- Always unplug the unit from the wall outlet and turn off before cleaning.
- Remove filter, rinse with warm water and rub any deposits off with a soft, damp cloth.
- Clean exterior with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
- Never immerse the kettle or base in water or other liquids.

Attractive with good features

I bought this to replace a Breville tea maker which we had for many years, using it multiple times a day. This unit is an improvement with a good variety of tea settings—white, green, black etc. it is an attractive appliance worthy of being left out on the counter.

Buy something else.

I bought this Feb 2024.This kettle lasted less than 16 months. About a month ago the lid was not really opening all the way through and today its just popped out a big piece of plastic fell out from the back of the lid.Shame on WS for carrying crappy products and Breville you should be charging $49.00 not $149 for this.Do better or charge less/

It is HEAVY

Bought this for my 93 year old mother so she wouldn’t use the kettle on the stove. Too heavy for her to lift! However, I use for fast boiling water.

I like this kettle very much

I have used an all metal electric kettle for years and I was interested in getting a kettle that was predominately glass. The container on the Breville pots the bill and only the base which contains the heating element is stainless steel. I like the preset temperatures available and the keep warm feature as sometimes I can't get to the kettle immediately for use. I also like the ability to easily see the water level due to the glass and the convenient markings.

It enhances the flavors

I never knew how much the temperature of the water brings out the flavor of the tea. I tried this product and I could taste all the flavors of my herbal teas.

Lid won't open anymore

The lid doesn't open anymore after a couple of years of normal use...this is such a disappointment. We like everything else about this kettle.

Not for long time use

It’s been almost 2 years and it looks like 10 years old. Bottom of inside the kette looks worn. It doesn’t feel like safe to use anymore. Also the handle has faded. Paying more but quality is still low.
