Buyer Beware

Stopped working in less than 3 weeks and Williams Sonoma says that it is not eligible for return.

Product is awesome. I have never own an espresso coffee machine before but we are enjoying this daily coffee brewing experience.

Grinder and brewing failed in under a year

I purchased the Barista Express less than a year ago and the grinder stopped working in the middle of grinding beans. Despite thorough cleaning, the grinder is jammed and all lights flash, making the machine completely unusable — it won’t even brew without the grinder functioning. For the price point of this machine, I expected better durability and reliability. Very disappointed that such an expensive investment failed so quickly.

Easy to make espresso

Love it! So easy to make delicious espresso. The olive color is a little darker than the photos online but it matches our kitchen perfectly so we didn't mind.

A standout machine

The best coffee maker I've ever had. Freshly ground beans, hot water and steam in the time a Nesspresso would take. A bit pricy, but we pay 9.00 each (18.00)/day, M-F = 126.00/week, it pays for itself quickly.

Pretty but difficult

Difficult to use. Four different “baskets”that are needed depending upon single and double shot and pre ground and fresh ground coffee- the baskets are actually small stainless cups are very hard to snap in and pop off. Had to search u tube multiple times to try and tweak different things to not get a bitter brew. I’m tired!

Steam wand doesn't work.

Very disappointed, I bought this January 20, 2024 and have had issues with the steam wand for the past year. I contacted Breville and was told to descale. I continue to have issues and no longer even bother to try to make a drink that requires steamed milk. I also have trouble with the grinder, many beans it won't grind or if it does it doesn't extract. I am unable to remove the burrs for cleaning.
