    Use & Care

    Care

    • All removable parts are top-rack dishwasher safe.
    • Clean housing and other external components with soapy, damp, nonabrasive cloth.
    • Avoid using cleansers, steel wool pads and other abrasive materials.
    • Caution: Handle capsule holder with care. It contains sharp needles that puncture capsule above and below. To avoid risk of injury, do not put fingers in capsule brewing chamber.
    • Replace charcoal filter every 60 days or after 60 uses (more often if you have hard water); sold separately.
    • Depending on mineral content of water in your area, calcium deposits (scale) may build up in coffee maker. Though scale is not toxic, it can affect performance.
    • When all the lights flash in sequence upon turning the unit on, it is time to decalcify your coffee maker. We recommend decalcifying every month for best performance. But the frequency depends upon the hardness of your tap water and how often you use the coffee maker.

    Small, efficient and delish!

I only need one cup of coffee a day- so to find this all in one grinder coffeemaker for single serving is amazing! Footprint is perfect size, and as it allows for my own favorite beans freshly ground it’s the best of all worlds! And yes- if you’re into the pod cups- that works too (there’s an included adapter) but I am thrilled with the fresh bean coffee experience!

not entirely what I was expecting

unfortunately, this single serve did not work out for me. When I first saw this, I thought it was everything that I have been looking for. Could still use the pods for my husband and I could grind fresh beans for my perfect cup of coffee. Grinding the beans was a mess. Using my pods I already had, exploded two out of four times I tried. Using the pod with my fresh grinds, left coffee grounds in my coffee. I was very sad. I really thought this was the perfect pot for me.

    Single fresh ground coffee rocks.

This is the perfect coffee maker for a household with only one coffee drinker. I love grinding my own beans. Every cup I make is fresh and hot

    Grinder Spills

I just purchased this and there are things I like and things I don't like. I used to have the Coffee on Demand, but after my third one, it started spewing coffee all over and I threw it away. Time for a new model so I opted for the Grand & Brew Single Serve. The coffee it makes is okay, not as good as the other machine but the grinder, makes a mess. I put the little filter in to make a fresh brewed cup and when I pulled out the re-usable filter cup, the grinder spills out grinds onto the tray. It doesn't overfill it and the filter cup doesn't spill it the grinder spills it. Not sure I can live with the mess. It may go back. Doesn't anyone have any suggestions on how to not have this mess with every cup of coffee made?

    Cheap garbage

I purchased this machine 1 year ago. It's very messy and just at the one-year mark, the grinder quit working. I'm very handy, and discovered the grinder motor has burned up. Stay away from this garbage.

    Disappointed with the product

I purchased the grind and brew all in one coffee maker, hoping that it would be replace a stand alone coffee grinder. Once coffee beans were put in the grinder and the machine was turned the grinder would grind the beans however all of the ground coffee was not secured in the grinder. When the grinder completed grinding I would have to clean and wipe up coffe grounds under and around the coffee maker. The ground coffee needs to be contained so it does not spill out of the grinder creating a mess each time I made a cup of coffee. I returned the coffee maker to the store for refund.

    Great cup of coffee!

It makes a great cup of coffee! The grinder works well and it’s easy to transition from fresh grind to brewing.
