Toast Perfection

So happy with this purchase! First of all, the beauty of it! The design is stunning. If you have to have a toaster sitting on your counter, it should be a show piece and this is all that. Second, I didn’t know toast could be made so perfectly toasted. I love everything about this toaster. We recently purchased a Smeg range in our kitchen reno so now having the toaster was a natural must have.

AVOID BUYING A SMEG PRODUCT AT ALL COSTS

TERRIBLE Customer service!! Beautiful style, but I would never, ever purchase another product from Smeg again! They simply couldn’t care less about their customers.

The BEST toaster out there!

Aesthetically pleasing and toasts all sizes perfectly! I spent a TON of time researching different brands and toasters. While in the high end for cost I have no regrets purchasing. Italian machinery at its finest - there’s a reason Smeg is highly renowned. I’ve had it for about a month now. Had a cheap toaster for about a decade before this and am shocked what I was missing out on for toasting. It’s much bigger than other toasters but again, WORTH. IT.

Such a pleasure to use in the morning

This is my first SMEG. I went with the 4 slice black and it looks sleek in my kitchen on the black soapstone countertops. It looks and feels well made. When you push down the handle it feels solid and sounds solid. I haven’t had any burnt toast. We set it on “3”. I had one waffle pop all the way out in the air! Other than that little surprise, which was honestly sort of fun, it’s been great so far and I’m pleased with my purchase. I did contemplate the D&G one for a minute as it is really gorgeous, but it’s just a bit too expensive for me to spend on a toaster, even if it is a piece of art. Note the toaster is big, it does fit under the cabinet but really just makes it. Our cabinets are low.

Beautiful toaster, no surprise.

Big beautiful toaster. I dropped a star because this was a birthday present for my husband and it was shipped in a box that had "SMEG Electric Toaster" in large font printed on the side. Guess who grabbed the delivery off the porch before me? Totally ruined his birthday surprise.

Love my Smeg toaster and it works like a dream

Looks nice but poorly made

Looks nice but lasted about a year and stopped working. Warranty is not great for this product. I would not recommend. Seems like a common issue.

Toaster that delivers gorgeous large toasties.

This baby beats any toaster I’ve ever owned in 67 years and now my gorgeous homemade sourdough has a worthy toaster and I owe it all to Madeleine Olivia and her UK Vegan food channel on YouTube.

Not worth the buy

The filament on one side of both the pockets is not working. So bread is toasted from one side only. Such an expensive buy and horrible product! Returning.
