Pro line toaster

Beautiful and Sturdy

Love Love Love, this toaster!! It does EVERYTHING it's supposed to and looks great while doing it. I have contemplated this purchase for years then finally decided it was time. Well designed and very sturdy. No regrets here! I've since bought one in another color not found on this site. If you've been thinking about getting this, I recommend you do.

Kitchenaid Pro Line 2-Slice Toaster

This is the worst toaster I’ve ever had. After the toast is finished, if I don’t take it out right away, it goes back down again without pressing the Little Bit More button. I have to stand there watching it and when it comes up, I have to be quick to grab it. Before I learned this, I had a couple instances where I walked away and came back to burned bread. I know it’s out of the warranty period and I feel like $299 is a ridiculous price to pay for a sub par appliance.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS $300 TOASTER

Trouble!! Went thru 2 of these toasters. The first one was not heating sufficiently. WS replaced with a new one which worked for less than 2 years when the toaster began operating itself without manual intervention. Did all the cleaning and maintenance which was recommended. No Good. Called Customer Support at WS and all they said is could contact Kitchenaid. Never again with Kitchenaid!

Best Toasting Toaster in the Toaster Tests

I love it. It is reminiscent of the old Sunbeam toaster we had when I was a kid. But it's way better because you have better control of the functions. It's also easy to clean with the removable tray at the bottom and smooth surfaces. The "keep warm" feature actually works and I love how it automatically lowers and raises without a mechanical lever or startling pop-up at the end of a cycle. Pricey for a toaster but I have no regerts! :)

Beautiful intuitive toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this toaster! After researching options for replacing a simple 2 slice toaster, we chose this KitchenAid toaster and couldn't be happier. It is gorgeous and the controls are functional and intuitive. We especially love the "a little longer" function and the auto lowering feature. The warming feature, too, is really helpful when you cannot immediately remove bread from the toaster. The lights are beautiful and the audible"ding" that lets you know that toasting has started and finished is really pleasant. The only thing we wish was different is it's toasting speed. It's slow. We assumed a new and upscale toaster would toast quickly. It does not. But it's worth the wait!

Gorgeous intuitive toaster!

This toaster is amazing! It is a beautiful design and color. I love that the controls are so intuitive and not overly complicated. The audible "ding" the toaster makes as toast is lowered and raised is great, and we love the auto lowering feature that activates when bread is placed in the slots. We especially like the warming feature that activates if you don't remove the toasted bread immediately. The only thing we would change is that the toasting process is slow. We anticipated that a toaster this upscale would toast quickly. It does not. But it is definitely worth the wait! We love it.
