Toaster exploded

I bought it and it lit on fire at 3 in the morning. Unfortunately it also brought my microwave down with it. So now I'm out 2 appliences as they both have combusted.

Why does a toaster need to cost $700?

I bought the SMEG toaster in black. I have no complaints with the use of this product. However, why does the blue Mediterranean pattern need to be priced $700?

Better than you could imagine.

I wanted this toaster for so long and finally pulled the trigger and it's even better than I thought. It's beautifully made and toasts to perfection. I am beyond happy with this product!

In my heart, it’s the most beautiful toaster That I have ever viewed on my kitchen counter The blue hues are striking to look at. It makes the most delicious toast and bagels remarkably well. My mother who is 96 years old and Italian to me, this was made for her. In my estimation, it was worth every penny.
