    • Keep Warm activates automatically at end of cooking cycle and can be set to Extended Warm.

    Still getting used to this rice cooker

    I wanted to love this quite pricey rice cooker but there are a few things that require getting used to. Placing the inner lid in just the right spot drives me crazy and often takes multiple efforts to get it to click into place. The rice is moister than we generally like- again, lots of trials with water amounts and haven’t achieved perfection yet. I know the instructions are to fluff it up as soon as it finishes cooking but my idea of a rice cooker is that you press the start button and eat the rice when you are ready to eat- no fussing in between. Lastly, the cord is not retractable. One nice feature, though, is that when you unplug the appliance, the clock does not need to be reset with each use, especially when using the timer.

    Amazing but..

    The product is amazing, but a bit unclear some little things work such as detaching and re-attaching the top lid.

    Great option!!

    This rice cooker is great and we love it so much! It has most high-end functions and and still is not the most expensive one. Just as authentic as the one we had in Japan.

    A step up from the TSC-10!

    So far, we are very impressed with the results. We are coming from the NS-TSC10 so we are familiar with Zojirushi rice cookers, and this is definitely a step up. Only had it about 2 weeks but used it several times (for white medium grain rice only), but the results are noticeably better. Each grain is perfectly distinct and moist. Our previous one started out great (though not this great), but after about 8 years it was making much mushier rice, until it finally starting giving us problems turn on. We are hoping this one lasts longer given it's about twice the price. This one is also made in Japan and seems to be higher quality overall when compared to the TSC-10.

    Poor kid design

    Was a good rice cooker. After a year, lid seal becomes brittle and tears easily. There is definitely a lid seal issue, as all the replacement lids are sold out, and no longer being produce Per this manufacturer FAQ. Seems like a bad excuse from the manufacturer as these are still being sold at stores and their website.
