Not 100% stainless steel!! Only coated.

I’m so disappointed with kitchen aid. These are not 100% stainless steel. The product description is purposefully deceptive. It states that their stainless steel products are 100% MADE WITH stainless steel. It doesn’t say the products are 100% stainless steel. Using the term “MADE WITH” is a red flag indicating that stainless steel is just one component and the product includes other materials; now you know why they have to put a prop 65 warning. How hard could it be to offer your customers a 100% stainless steel item? It’s not, it’s just that kitchenaid is being cheap. Just another tacky brand trying to market itself as high-end.

    Stainless Attachments are great!

Great attachments - I only wish these were the ones that came with the mixer upon purchase! After a year the white enameled ones that came with the mixer have small pieces of enamel that are coming off near the attachment site to the mixer

    Not stainless steel

These should be solid stainless steel not stainless coating that it peeling off. Shame on you kitchen aid first you sell lead containing accessories and now you sell fake stainless steel accessories, disgusting.

    Well made

I am excited to have these, as my older coated beaters are losing some of the coating. These appear well made.

    Stainless Steel Stand Mixer Tools

I always thought the dough hook, paddle, and whisk attachments should have been stainless steel. I have purchased 3 paddles with the plastic coating and they have all chipped. These are a little pricey but I won’t have to replace them or worry about chips and contamination- they can also go into the dishwasher without that nasty black corrosion!! All good things. These are available for tilt head and lift bowl models.

    Stainless steel upgrade

These stainless steel attachments are fantastic! The coating on my old attachments was coming off and I needed to replace them. I'm so pleased I went with this set! They are very sturdy and I felt like the head on my KitchenAid mixer didn't knock around as much as it did with the lighter weight plastic coated attachments. Highly recommend!

    Great product

I’ve had my KitchenAid artisan mixer since 1986. The original beaters were starting to show signs of where the new stainless steel ones are a great fit. Fit perfect and work perfectly with the mixer.

    Heavy-Duty Workhorses

I agree with other reviewers who have expressed dissatisfaction with chipping on the coatings of the KitchenAid original equipment beaters. Their website only offers guidance on preventing chipping. It shouldn't be happening at all! Now that I have that off my chest, these mixing tools are fabulous. They're heavy and substantial, and may well outlast the mixer itself. I choked on the price a little, but they're worth it as replacement beaters for my well-used mixer.

Out with the old in with the new

Love the new stainless steel beaters. They are dishwasher safe and will not chip like the very old ones they replaced.
