    A pop buy

    It’s cheaply made but does work well. Not happy with the butter melting top.

    Longevity!

    We had the same one for 35 years...hopes that this one lasts 1/2 that long! And we had to toss it because the top broke - but the unit still worked

    Disappointing...

    I really expected better from William Sonoma. This is a cheaply made popcorn popper. I can make better popcorn in a pan on the stove. I'm so disappointed.

    sturdy, but not what I wanted

    I was hoping to have a way to make popped corn without any butter or oil, unfortunately this will not allow that. I will be bringing it back

    Lid covering butter dispenser doesn’t stay on

    I ended up returning this product. We were disappointed after the first and only use, the lid that covers the butter dispenser became warped from the heat and would not fit or stay attached to the bowl once you turn it over. Seems like poor design for that part - was surprised this was in Williams Sonoma.

    Not worth the money.

    This is my second stir crazy. My first one died after 10 yrs but was so awesome I had high hopes. Boy was I wrong. It over heated & burned the first kernels. The bottom steam vent cover warped and won't stay on. It's even more difficult to clean. Returning.

    Chewy popcorn

    Works very fast but the popcorn comes out chewy; tried two different kernel brands. When I do it low and slow on the stove top it comes out much better. I believe it just gets too hot - it's a 1000 watts and scorching the kernels. It's super fast compared to the stove top but definitely produces inferior popcorn.
