All Form No Function

How I wish I could love this machine. Form... No Function. Each time I "carbonate" there is more water in the tray than gets in the bottle. Okay, perhaps an exaggeration, but the bottle is covered in water each time I try to use it. My husband won't touch it. Wants our old Soda Stream back. Wish I could return it but it is outside the return window. Now it is mostly a counter ornament. My Velveteen Aarke rabbit.... wishing to become a real carbonated bunny....

Pretty but useless

Bottle is constantly unscrewed resulting in no carbonation. Expensive and beautiful but useless.

Skip it - buy the plastic brand

Most expensive piece of kitchen trash. Doesn’t work, bottle continuously loosens for no reason and poor carbonation. purchased to replace a plastic machine but this is an epic fail. Company is unresponsive.

Great product, but user MUST apply pressure

PSA: You MUST apply some form of pressure to the machine, and I guarantee you will see good results with the pro version. I, like many other users, used the machine as is and found the carbonation very weak and had lots of water splashing. This is because the machine doesn’t really seal the glass bottle tightly enough on its own, while it is carbonating - so you have a lot of vapor and gas escaping in the process. The simple solution for me is to apply downward pressure on the machine while you’re carbonating. I I usually put my hand or arm on the top and kind of put some of my body weight into it. For reference im about 120 lbs so it should be easy for most people. Knocking off 1 star because the locking mechanism could have been designed better, but nothing is really perfect and is still worth the money. Now my sparkling water comes out crispy and no backsplash, and best part - less plastic!

Create & Enjoy

This carbonation machine has been a blast to use. I have purchased cherry cola and root beer flavors to make and enjoy. I should have got one sooner. I am looking for recipes to create and enjoy.

The Albatross

Our hope was to replace our Soda Stream which uses plastic bottles with this unit utilizing glass. The health risks that comes from ingesting plastic every day pales in comparison to the stress and heartache that comes with using this tragedy. It spills as others have said yes, but no matter wyd or how much you adjust your technique trying to will this nightmare to work, its a disaster every time. The success rate of getting fully carbonated water on a first or even 5th attempt is maybe1 in 20. The engineering team behind this albatross should be banned from ever thinking again. Please SAVE yourself the pain and regret. It took us 2 months to accept that this is going in the trash.

Zero stars. Two thumbs down

Very bad. Expensive. Does not work. Does not carbonate water. Feels like it is going to explode when we use it. Spills water everywhere. Do not recommend. Had it for 2 months and ended up throwing in trash. Disappointing. Waste of money

My husband and I love this machine. The glass is an added touch and it's so easy to use. No leaking as some reviews had indicated.

Insufficient customer support

I’m sure this does a great job at carbonating water. According to the instructions only water. I gave it one star because when I tried to reach the company to ask if I could use it for other beverages, there was no phone number, only email. So I emailed them. I didn’t hear back from them right away, when I did I asked if I could speak with them in person. This is a very expensive item for what it does, I wanted to speak with them to find out if it’s only water then I need to return it before I open it. And yes, I want a live agent!!! I don’t want to wait 24-48 hours to get through customer service!!! Companies who don’t provide live agents are sending a message To their customers that they’re not that important!!! The email stated they do not speak with their customers Great, I returned it and bought the Breville
