Amazing Design

This machine replaced a Saeco Pico Barista that we absolutely loved. I wasn’t sure that this less expensive model was going to live up to the Saeco, but it easily exceeded our expectations! The latte go container is the perfect size - no tubes to clean - and cleaning is a snap. The milk stays fresher because of the smaller container. The tray and water compartment is much improved. And we love how easy it is to save our drink preferences. If you are on the fence about buying this machine - do it! You will enjoy every cup!

Amazing machine worth every penny!

I personally do not own one of these. But my best friend has one. I have had at least 40 cups if coffee from this machine. I like the espresso lungo and the americano best. Can not get over how convenient this machine is. How fast it makes a cup of coffee, and so little maintenance goes into it. I will be buying one of these tax time next year. Can't wait till it goes on sale again

Not Worth the Price

The machine itself looks nice, and the idea of a touch screen operation with nearly dozens of beverage options sounded fantastic. Unfortunately the beverage quality was below mediocre. The coffee this machine spits out tastes incredibly watered down - with beans that make excellent quality coffee/espresso in higher quality machines. We regret purchasing this.

Not worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit has not worked properly from the start. My Nespresso machines have always worked flawlessly for years. Instead of letting me exchange for a new unit, like most places would, Phillips has made me jump thru hoops trying to fix this thing. Make sure you buy products from places that let you return or exchange.

Good then horrible

This was a really solid machine for about a year and a half and then it started to lose steam. Got extremely dirty really quickly, coffee got weaker and had a poor taste, and overall became very unhappy with it and stopped using it. I have had it for 3+ years and now it just sits in a closet. Would advise anyone considering buying one of these to stay away

Great product and simple to make amazing coffee!

Awesome grind and brew! Great flavor and super easy to use. Love the wide variety of drinks too! My wife even quit going to Starbucks every morning and is making her coffee at home.

All the coffee drinks!

I love that I can put all the high end beans up top and press a button and have whatever coffee drink I want. I bounce from iced coffee and espresso while my wife goes for latte and flat whites. Cleaning takes little effort and is only once a week with daily use. We do usually hafta fill the water reservoir daily but that, again, is of little nuissance.

Phillips 5500 lattego

This coffee machine is game changing! Will never go back to just a drop coffee machine, every morning is fun with a custom latte at home. 100% recommend, I bought my machine in store and received it with two broken parts that didn’t impact the performance - the lattego and the drip tray. I reached out to Phillips and they sent me the new parts as a replacement. Overall good experience so far!
