Big upgrade from standard toaster oven

Wonderful countertop oven! Bought this to replace a Cuisinart toaster oven that had the heating element give out. This oven has so many functions and cooks everything beautifully. My kids use it to bake cookies and snacks after school. I love how many cooking settings and upgrades it has compared to regular toaster ovens.

cleaning after airfrying greasy food inmesh basket

Great features.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this model a moth ago and I am very happy with my purchase. It is very pleasing with the black front glass and the digital controls on the bottom of the unit. The temperature probe is amazing. I was looking for a counter top oven for a long time and I am glad I find this unit from KitchenAid.

Minor step backwards

Good oven but Kitchenaid removed an important function: after the unit preheats, the timer starts immediately so there is no time to put the food in. We replaced a 9 year old Kitchenaid toaster oven that had it right. After setting the temperature and time, the old unit would preheat then sound a tone letting you know it was ready. Then, after you put the food in, you pressed start and only then did the timer start. This made it so you didn’t have to sit there by the oven waiting to hurry to put the food in once the oven preheated. Very sorry to see this step backwards in an otherwise great product.

Another great Kitchenaid product!

The oven has performed outstanding! We love the large size, it is very quiet and the oven does what it is supposed to do. It also looks beautiful on the countertop. Not having to use a full size conventional oven during the warm summer months is a real bonus. So far, the air fryer feature is our favorite.

Great features but have to be careful cleaning

I bought this a year ago and have wonderful experience in cooking, air frying, toasting , baking and the thermometer function is the best However cleaning can be a pain , specially if it drips in the bottom pan

Perfect Addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid countertop convection/air fryer is a perfect addition. Compact yet fully featured. Exceptionally quiet. Preheats quickly. I have found that I use it more often than my KitchenAid built in oven. Also perfect for cooking a side dish while the main is in the built in. The controls are easy to understand and use. I waited quite awhile to purchase a countertop oven and I'm happy that I chose a KitchenAid. And also, it looks quite stylish on my countertop.
