Care
- Machine has integrated maintenance programs for rinsing coffee system, rinsing milk system, cleaning milk system, changing filter, cleaning machine and descaling machine.
- To ensure frother always works properly, clean it after preparing milk. Machine will display prompt to clean milk system after each time milk is prepared, but it will not prompt you to rinse frother.
- Removable coffee grounds container, drain pan and drawer are top-rack dishwasher safe on low temperature and short cycle; chrome cup platform is hand-wash only.
- Wipe surface of machine clean with soft, damp cloth.

Jura Giga 10

We bought a Jura 10 and spent close to $5000.00 at Williams Sonoma because I had read what a great machine it was . From day 1 it leaked every day all over my stone countertops and left a brown colored water . The milk component wouldn’t work either . When we sent it in to the manufacturer , which was a hastle , they told the whole frame of the frame was bent and wanted to send us a used refurbished machine . I am so disappointed in a company that would sell me a broken machine and not replace with a new one but instead wants to send me a used machine after the amount of money I spent . It feels like I have been ripped off !! What terrible customer service …. How extremely disappointing from a company I trusted !!!

Chronic issues started 3 months in.

Chronic problems. My machines 5 months old and I’ve had to box is up and send it in for repairs twice. Broken again and they won’t refund me because I’m past the return window. Jura does not stand bending their product. Very expensive piece of plastic that constantly breaks down. My reviews keep getting removed so keep that piece in mind too.

Terrible machine

DO NOT buy a machine from JURA! My machine is still Under the 2 year warranty and I already sent it to repair 3 times. The grinder gets stuck and it won’t brew any coffee. I am using the recommended coffee bean and do all the cleaning and change of filter periodically. Last time I spoke with customer service they say the issue is that I need the grinder set on the most coarse setting (they try to blame on the customer) for the specific type of bean I’m using. Anyway, it’s been exactly 4 days I got my machine back from repair and again the grinder got stuck. It’s so inconvenient to have to be sniping the machine back and forth to repair and have the same issue over and over again. Save yourself the money and the trouble and do not buy this crap!

An Expectational Machine

This machine exceeded our expectations. It is very easy to use, even for the non-techie in the family. The coffee brewed by this machine is better than anything you will taste from a drip coffee maker, even an SCA machine. Part of the reason is the crema on top of the coffee, just plain excellent. The ability to customize each drink as well as adjust the grinder are welcomed features. One of my favorite features is the ability to try different coffee with the ground coffee pass-through. Finally, clean-up is a snap.

Avoid the Jura E8 – Not Worth the Hype or Price

Hi, I’ve been using the Jura E8 daily for almost three years, and unfortunately, it’s been a disappointing experience. If I had known earlier, I would have avoided Jura altogether and invested in a better machine. First, the milk frothing system is extremely unreliable. Around 80% of the time, it dispenses plain milk with little to no froth—nothing like the images on Jura’s website. It’s frustrating and misleading. Second, the built-in grinder is poor. Despite spending countless hours reading manuals and watching tutorials to optimize the settings, the coffee has consistently been subpar. In three years, I can’t recall a single cup that truly impressed me. If you’re comparing it to the coffee you get from a barista or a good coffee shop, I’d rate it 1 out of 5. Third, Jura’s customer service is virtually non-existent. Reaching them is a challenge—I’ve left numerous voice messages and never received a response. It’s clear they don’t prioritize after-sales support. Overall, I cannot recommend the Jura E8. For the price, you’d expect much better performance and customer care.
