    Fave food processor

Excellent food processor. Easy to use and clean. The blades and components are easily viewed and stored in their respective slots. I especially like the ability to adjust thickness of slicing blade. I have had a food processor for many years that finally had to be replaced. So happy I found this one.

I have waited far too long, but finally purchased this full size food processor. What a difference in my life. It has made home cooking a breeze. It’s powerful, consistent, fast and easy to clean! I am very happy with my purchase.

Broke after three uses, not recommended

Don’t be fooled by the brand, weight, or hype. I wanted this for a long time, and finally saved up enough to buy it. After using it 3 times, it no longer chops, dices, or mixes anything. It runs, but so slowly that whatever you put in it just goes for a joy ride, no processing of any kind happens. It’s heavy and beautiful and looks nice on my counter, but that’s about it. I have other Breville small appliances that are wonderful, but this one was a miss. I didn’t use it often because it’s a huge hassle to clean, so it’s out of warranty, and I’m out a lot of money with a useless piece of junk.

Better than the Cuisinart, wish it were bigger

After buying the cuisinart and returning it because I thought the plastic felt cheap and the machine clunky, I'm very happy with the build quality on the 12 cup food processor. My only complaint is that I should have gotten the larger size. As the. bowel fills up, the food chops unevenly, with the food on the bottom being in smaller pieces than those on top. 2 onions, 4 carrots, 6 stalks of celery for mirepoix in a soup were a little too much for even chopping.

    Amazing appliance

I love this appliance. I use it daily. I usually have a salad for dinner so I shred carrots. Slice cells and cut spinach and lettuce. The blades are conveniently stored in the accompanying plastic box making preparations fast and convenient. This food processor is more powerful than previously ones that I have used.

    Good but one annoying thing

I do like this overall but i have an issue with the smaller cup it comes with. I bought this processor specifically because it had one. I thought that was great since on everyday basis I just need to process small quantities. However, the small cup can only be used within the bigger cup, and it has no seal between the two, so small pieces of the food always ends up flying up and out into the bigger cup when I use the blade inside. If it's anything with liquid then it's even worse. I end up having to clean both cups everytime even though I only used one. All it would take is a basic rubber seal around the rim of the small cup to fix this issue so I'm surprised they haven't done that.

    Mixed feelings

This is my first food processor and is an impressive machine at first glance. Solid and powerful. However, during only the second use, slicing red cabbage for sauerkraut, the adjustable cutter, set to around 5, apparently came out of its bearing/bushing in the container lid destroying the bearing and causing extensive wear to the top of the cutter assembly. To Breville's credit, they replaced both the lid and the cutter without much comment (the machine is still under warranty). I'm not sure what to make of the experience. I won't exactly be comfortable chopping red cabbage in the future. I thought this was the sort of thing food processors excelled at. I'll probably pay for some additional spare parts while they're still available.
