Great for braising.

This dutch oven is wonderful for dishes like pot roast, spagetti sauce etc. It has the benefits of cast iron cookware without weight.

Garbage

Worst cooking item. Burns very quickly the smoke toxicity was beyond what my air filter could register, one handle broke off after 2 uses. Garbage!!!!!

I wish all pots and dishes were like this.

Fascinating how goes everywhere - pretty rare for a piece to work on all of stove (mine is gas), oven, microwave, and up to such high temperatures. So light and roomy compared to both my similar sized enamel cast iron Le Creuset Dutch oven and my Le Creuset Toughened Non-Stick Pro stock pot. Yes, it could break if dropped, but I already learned the hard way to remember dropping anything in the kitchen could break my toes or feet! I really wish Emile Henry would make a full line of cookware and kitchenware that goes everywhere like their Dutch oven does - they obviously have the tech and would be revolutionary.

Perfect Dutch Oven

Arrived in excellent condition. The color is rich and the overall finish is impeccable. It is surprisingly lightweight but also sturdy. I made stuffed cabbage rolls with a rich tomato sauce for the inaugural meal which came out beautifully. After the meal the interior was easy to clean and looked like new again. I bought it for myself but it would make a splendid gift too.

Light weighted

I am completely enamored with this product as it exudes a sense of luxury while also being light in weight. Unlike cast-iron, it retains that desired feeling due to its combination of materials, which I thoroughly appreciate. I am delighted to have this item in my kitchen.

Impressed so far

So far I love it! I adore the color and look forward to more pieces being developed for the collection. It is significantly lighter than others in its class. So far I used it to make a bone broth with my turkey carcass and was impressed by how well and evenly it simmered. Soup is up next and a holiday roast!
