    LOW BLOW KETTLE

The kettle is fine and functional but bought for the Whistling feature and this kettle has a very low kettle sound-not as prior kettles. Very disappointed.

    Great kettle

Beautiful smaller size tea kettle. Heats very quickly and is just what I was looking for.

Bought 2. Both defective. Whistle doesn't work.

This brand is not good anymore. I owned one for 15 years that I loved. Then I bought two in a row that were defective. First one bought online didn't whistle because the cap did not sit on the spout straight. Second one bought in store/online didn't whistle for some other reason I wasn't able to diagnose. Even when you pressed the top down to whistle, it doesn't sound like it used to. They now come with a cheap piece of plastic inside the hinge that melts and falls out no matter what you do. I imagine they are using cheaper/thinner metal and trying to reinforce with plastic, but the result is melted plastic and a teapot that doesn't whistle.

    Well made, weird whistle

Well made, I expect it will last for years. The only criticism is it sounds like a train horn. Weirdest sounding tea kettle I’ve ever heard.

    Bad Design

The pot is a very poor design, it dribbles out water when you poor and the lid handle is too close to the handle, so you can burn you hand.

    Beautiful Tea Kettle

This is a beautiful tea kettle and I really like it. I would have given it five stars but sometimes when I pour, the spout drips. I'm not sure if I'm overfilling it but other than this, it works great. I have an induction range and it heats quickly. I actually like the whistle, it's loud and sounds like a train whistle. The padded sleeve is perfect for the handle.

    Slow delivery

This kettle is basic, but good quality. However, it didn't ship for nearly three weeks. Don't order unless you're not in a hurry.

Only 48 oz, sooo slow to boil or whistle

I wanted an all stainless steel tea kettle, and I couldn't find an all stainless steel electric tea kettle so I bought this stove top instead. When you fill this up to the spout it's only about 48 oz. If you fill too close to the spout and turn up the burner to get the whistle to work (most often I can hear water boil but there's no whistle unless I turn the burner up more), the water may spurt out and singe you. Also, it takes forever to heat up. I just heated up soup on the same burner, and it was very fast so it's not the burner. This was a very expensive treat for myself, and I'm pretty bummed about it.

Perfect kettle, except whistle needs pressed down

Super cute and boils water well, no need for the little handle mit that comes with it, because the handle doesn't get hot. My only criticism, and why I didn't give it five stars, is that the whistle is a little finnecky; I have to remember to press it down each time to make sure it will work properly.
