Use
- Only for use with chocolate flakes/shaving. Do not use with chocolate powder.
- Maximum ratio of chocolate to milk is 1:5.
- Do not overfill with chocolate.
Care
- Unplug before cleaning.
- Lid and whisks are dishwasher safe.
- Do not immerse appliance in water.
- Clean immediately after each use by flushing and cleaning walls and bottom of frothing jug, then washing jug and lid with warm soapy water.
- Dry thoroughly with soft cloth.
- Do not use sharp objects, steel wool, scouring pads or harsh, abrasive cleaning agents on surface.

Randomly Died

Died after minimal use. Lasted only a handful of uses.

Not great

This thing is tiny. The directions are unclear. You can't make 2 small cups of hot chocolate with it. And it is warm chocolate, not hot. Williams Sonoma hot chocolste is delicious but this machine really isn't useful.

Only heated milk a couple of times

I ordered this hot chocolate maker in spite of bad reviews. It worked 2-3 times—i loved it. Then it stopped heating the milk. I was so disappointed. So buyer beware.

DID NOT WORK AFTER 2 USES.

The Williams Sonoma Hot Chocolate Maker worked only 2 times before breaking. For the two times it worked I loved it.

Waste of milk

This thing is so finicky you will waste more milk than it’s worth. Spent too many times trying to get it to work. It went right into my garbage.

Terrible Quality, Waste of Money

The machine stopped turning on after 4 uses. I tried it again a week later and it turned on and frothed the milk, but did not heat. I tried to use it again the next day and it would not turn on. I am exchanging it for another, but it won’t ship until March. This is by far the lowest quality product I have ever purchased from WS. I wish I could get my money back.

Waiting for exchange

I bought this as my Breville chocolate frother finally died. I tried to use it but it never powered on. WS was good about accepting an exchange. Unfortunately I will it get the new one until March.

Delicious hot chocolate

Hot chocolate is not the same with the hot chocolate maker. It is so smooth and rich and delicious. Reminds me of my recent trip to the Christmas markets in Austria, Germany and Czech Republic.
