Use
- For use with #1 paper filters.
Care
- Clean the brewer regularly; if used daily, clean it every two week.
- Wipe clean on the outside with a moist cloth and wipe dry.
- After each use, hand-wash the brew-basket with mild detergent, using the small brush (provided) to clean the tiny opening in the basket bottom.
- For cleaning, we recommend eco-friendly Urnex®. Full Circle™ Coffee & Espresso Equipment Cleaning Powder.
- Descale your brewer every 80 cycles, or a minimum of every 3 months, to maintain optimal performance.

Doesn’t just look good

Love this! It is a great single-cup coffee maker that mimics a pour over and makes great coffee. Not great if you are always in a rush to get your coffee as it takes almost 5 minutes to make a cup, but it makes great coffee and is a greener alternative to Keurig. I’ve only had it for less than a month, but I’ve read that Technivorm coffee makers last a long time as they are well made AND the individual parts are replaceable, much different than the planned obsolescence of other products. Plus the health benefits of paper-filtered coffee reported by recent studies.

Great coffee, but…

Moccamaster is the leader of awesome coffee makers. However, this One Cup leaves room for improvement because you never know when the coffee basket is going to overflow!

Perfect!

The most perfect coffeemaker for its size. Very simple to use and great for 2 people who enjoy different strengths of coffee. We can easily brew one cup right after another without any fuss. Takes up a minimal amount of space and looks lovely too. No issues at all after using consistently for over a month.

Worth the extra money

I love this coffee maker. I tried several single cup coffee makers before I came upon this one. This one does a great job brewing.

One Cup Coffee Machine!

I bought 2 machines. The first one was working fine so I purchased another one about 2 weeks ago. My first machine was clogging. The water would not go through the paper filter. I had to make the opening larger myself which took forever. The second machine arrived that same day & whe I opened it, I see that had a piercing tool (which my 1st. Machine did not have). I didn’t use my 2nd one yet. I would only buy a third if I received it with a hugh discount. I paid $250. For the 1st.one & the 2nd. One was on sale for 174. Still too much.

This is so awful, don't do it

This is absolutely the worst coffee maker I have ever used. Maybe you will get a good one. Maybe i got a lemon. It gets clogged and dumps coffee everywhere every time I use it. I scrub out the filter, dig out the hole with a safety pin and still I'm cleaning coffee off my walls and counter tops. Unbelievably frustrating for a 250 dollar coffee maker.

Easy Peasy

Great coffee maker for a single gal like me. Makes wonderful cup of coffee. When descaling I used the recommended powder ( about 1 1/2 TBSP) per 10 ounces of water. Couldn't be easier to use.

It is SO good. WORTH IT

If you're looking for just 1 cup at a time, which I prefer for freshness and taste -- this is the one. I had considered getting a pour over, but am glad I went with the Moccamaster Cup-One. I don't have to sit there and wait for it to brew, or pour the water in the perfect amount or deal with pouring, waiting, pouring, waiting that would be required of a pour-over. Some other reviews say that it takes so long to brew - but I disagree. From grinding the beans to drinking my coffee, we're at less than 3 minutes. I also LOVE that it turns itself off once the water has been fully dispersed. A a busy mom with 700 things in my head, one less thing to worry about it a huge win. I make 2 cups a day and really look forward to my coffee process using my Moccamaster. It is absolutely worth the cost! And it isn't clear, but FYI it came with 2 boxes of filters!

I love my Cup-One

This is the perfect way to brew the coffees from Vietnam that we enjoy every day. It has the benefits of a phin brewer...pre-soaking, perfect temp and drop brewing, with less work or clean-up. I'd absolutely buy another if ours broke down. After 10 years of daily use, there are no signs it will ever need replacing. I learned about MochaMaster from a coffee maker review that gave it the top mark. Because we like a variety of blends and small batches, we got the Cup-One model. It has a small footprint, is easy to use and clean, and makes a great cuppa.
