    Motor get stuck if you try to do a large batch.

    I really wanted to love this grinder. Like other reviewers says it get stuck after 3 uses and the motor doesn’t run. I think it’s because I was trying to make an extra batch for next day and too many beans not can’t handle. I think this machine is only meant for small batch use. Like single batch use. Ok have big parties so we sometimes need to grind big batches so this machine won’t work. We returned.

    Disappointed

    I bought this grinder to go with my Moccamaster coffee pot, which I absolutely LOVE. However it stopped working after 5 uses. I manually cleaned it per the instructions and it began working again for 1 use. It appears to clog very easily. Disappointed since I loved the look and feel, but I returned and will research a different burr grinder.

    perfect for moccamaster coffee makers

    Extremely well built, solid, five year warranty. Grind is perfect for Moccamaster coffee makers (or other drip or pour over applications). You can grind directly into a metal (or paper)filter if static is an issue with the grinds container (if you grind in advance, static goes away after an hour or two). Highly recommended.

    Very pretty Doesn’t Work

    Lasted 3 days and the motor locked up. William Sonoma took it back without question.

    Worst Appliance I’ve ever purchased.

    I recently decided to up my coffee game and invest in a burr grinder. I have the matching Moccamaster Coffee pot so bought the grinder. I have had it for about three months, too late to return and Moccamaster will do nothing. Grinder has to be disassembled and cleaned after grinding only two pounds of coffee. Very poor design, the spout does not come off and gets completed packed with coffee. It cannot be cleaned with a brush, it must be disassembled and a metal skewer or tooth pick is the only thing small enough to get through the opening to clean it out. Terrible, terrible construction. $300 down the drain.

    Solid grinder!

    Love it! Solid construction, grind is very fast, less noise and way quicker than my Rocky Grinder. 100% used for drip coffee in my Moccamaster drip machine. This is a step up from my previous grinder, so much faster and uniform. There is static in the glass cup but I can live with it because some of the grind chaff stays in the cup and doesn't get all over the counter. Making my morning coffee has been streamlined and I really look forward to using the grinder each time!

    Highly recommend KM5 Burr Grinder

    I was replacing a moccamaster non-burr grinder which I have used for years (and still works). Very efficient and reasonably quiet compared to previous grinder. Does a great job grinding beans. It has made my morning coffee experience more enjoyable.

    Broke after 2 uses

    Broke after 2 uses...tried to return but apparently this unit was "not eligible" for return so you have to go through the warranty process with the actual company. Would have either never ordered or just ordered directly from Moccamaster if I knew this. Love the company but honestly, I have better luck with the cheap single use grinders from the grocery store...

    Worth it ?

    Good Grinder, but is not worth the price. I'm sure there are a lot less expensive grinders that will do the same thing. Bought to match my Moccamaster.
