    Sleek,Compact,YumCoffee. Hate the mandatory filter

First, it's very slick. Love the design, white is gorgeous and it looks great on the counter. The coffee is good. I like the no fluff of milk. Just strong coffee. The negative is you are forced to use their water filter (and expensive to replace every 4-6 months) and it takes up 50% of the water container. So you can only make 2 cups of coffee then fill the water container again. We use filtered water, it should just let you use your own water. Not a great design.

Solid Machine, but Not Without Flaws

We purchased a Jura E8 about five years ago and have been extremely happy with it. Based on that positive experience, we decided to invest in an ENA 4 for our vacation home. While it still delivers Jura’s signature quality, we have encountered a few drawbacks that make it less satisfying compared to our E8. First, the spout does not adjust high enough to accommodate a larger mug, which limits convenience. Second, while we wanted the option of brewing a full cup of coffee, adjusting the settings resulted in a brew that was too weak for our taste. Third, the interface is not as intuitive as the E8, making it slightly less user-friendly. Our biggest frustration, however, is with the bean hopper. Despite being full, the beans don’t always feed properly into the grinder, requiring us to manually push them down. While these are relatively minor issues, they do affect the overall experience. That said, we still appreciate Jura’s quality and craftsmanship and do not regret the purchase. However, for those who prioritize ease of use and flexibility, the E8 remains the superior choice.

    Jura Ena 4

Compact size. Basic machine which is what we were looking for. We switched back to Jura after trying a different brand. Very helpful personnel at Ponce Market in Atlanta.

Great Machine and Worth the Price

Excellent espresso machine that does exactly as advertised. The simplicity of function and ease of use are worth the price. The only considerations when using the machine is the grind setting (spin wheel around grinder), coffee bean choice, and what kind of water to use (I use spring for richness of taste). The machine looks great and makes a great cup of coffee. I recommend for any serious coffee drinkers,

Does not make a full cup of coffee.

I just opened it on Sunday and it is Wed. I can't use any of my coffee mugs under it because it is too short. It only makes 4 oz at a time and I am trying to get ahold of someone to help me. If I could figure out or talk to someone. I would return it.

Waited forever to get a Jura

I love this machine. Because I drink iced lattes I make them once per week and refrigerate. This decreases the amount of wasted water rinsing it out.

    WAY TOO HARD TO INSTALL!

Wouldn't buy another one. The Swiss don't know how to write a user/instruction manual. If Sonoma wants responsibility to sell this thing, they need to arrange for a 800 number to call for a helpful technical person who knows how to install and make it work. Apple has such a number, Sonoma should have one too. Not planning to buy anything further from Sonoma

The directions on use need to be rewritten.

I got this as a birthday gift from my brother. The instructions are very convoluted. They kept throwing in the warnings of using only coffee beans; don't put any ground coffee in the machine with creamer in it; don't use mineral water. They repeated these at least 5 times. I had to make check marks to find the steps to make the first cup of coffee. By then I had to empty the water tray, but finding out where the meanings of the symbols were located took a little time. It took 4 days to get things working. Now I like the machine. It's just not easy or intuitive to set up.
