Use
- Do not use on stovetop.
- Use only coarse ground coffee.
- For boldly flavored coffee, Bodum recommends approx. 1 Tbsp. coarse ground coffee for every 4 oz. of water. If you prefer milder flavor, add hot water to brewed coffee.

Like the design. Easy to use, BUT you need the right coffee grind. On the whole, a tough choice between the French Press and the Chemex.

A decent french press but just feels more flimsy than my old one. They should add some weight (better glass) and better metal so it would be perfectly balanced.

Miniature sized French press

So the coffee press is great and seems durable, but y’all, when it says it makes three cups those are not the measurement size cups. This barely fills a normal size coffee mug. It only makes enough coffee for my husband. Anyone else wants coffee we have to repeat the process again. I would not have bought it had I realized how small it was.

It is not a 3 cup Press. It is a 1-1.5 cup container. It does not keep the coffee warm while brewing.

Well made french press

With all the talk of plastics harming our bodies, I thought it was best to go back to basics. I am enjoying my French press. It seems to be a very well made gadget and the high quality mesh filter keeps the grounds out of your brew. I'm still working out the kinks of bringing a kettle to an almost boil, then pouring it into the French press. I think the "waiting" is the hardest part, and figuring out how much coffee to start with. It sure looks beautiful on my counter. But the jury is still out on the convenience/ inconvenience

Misleading how many cups you can get

I purchased this product, 3 cups size. When it arrived, I almost fainted from shock of how TINY it was. I get a half regular cup of coffee. You can get barely 3 espresso tiny cups. But you do NOT get even 1 regular cup of coffee from this press. You get a 1/2 .
