    Beautifully made tea kettle

Beautifully made, sturdy tea kettle, but too tall and heavy for me to comfortably use. I am 5’ 3” and 135 lbs.

    Works as advertised!

I have a gas range. This heats up fast! The finish is nice too.

Incredible. Medium flame = fast boil, cool handle

I have owned this kettle or well over a year and it took me awhile to realize that a medium flame would heat the water super-fast and at the same time, keep the handle cool. It's incredibly, unbelievably efficient in how it heats up. I was using too high a flame at the start. This kettle doesn't work that way. Anyway, I love it. And it's beautiful, too.

Really nice however: Extremely annoying whistle

The first time I used it I thought it was great. However, I didn't get it up to a full boil. The second time it was a full boil, whistle works way too well, and it's very piercing @ 100dB I am writing mainly to see if this is normal?

I can help keep it clean & shiny.

Love my kettle!! It really does heat water fast and keeping it ckean with that mirror shine is easy. My kettle has gotten spatters that leave marks on the surface that don't come out with just soap and water. Use Dawn power wash to get the grease off. You might have to let the power wash sit on the surface for a while to get those stains & grease off. Rinse, dry. If there are still marks and slight scratches, use a cape cod cloth and rub, rub, rub. Wash off with a good degreasing detergent then dry. The mirror surface will once again be like new. To keep from spending a lot of time doing this, I use the cape cod cloth on my kettle every 2 to 3 months after I've cleaned it. Wash, dry and it always looks like new.

    Finish looks awful!

I’ve had this kettle around a year or so. Whilst it boils super fast and does it’s job after just a few months it looked absolutely awful. See photo. My kettle stays out on my stovetop (Moved when I’m cooking!!) and visually it is not pretty AT ALL. I’ve tried everything to clean it and nothing works. So disappointed.

    Beautiful Kettle, Not Rapid Boil

I'll keep it because it does eventually heat up and it looks nice in my new kitchen, however if you have a glass top range this will not work as a rapid boil kettle, had to turn it up to high and it still took 25 minutes. Not as rapid as an electric kettle or other stove top kettles I have had in the past.

    Boils very quickly

I got this as a Christmas gift and I am blown away by the quality and durability. I use it everyday and I love it!
