The best kettle money can buy

The most important thing about this kettle other than its usability is that it’s repairable. If you’re looking for a kettle for life, this is the one to get. All the major components are replaceable. Other dualit products are semi-repairable but this one is down to the thermostat, lid, handle, and switches.

Hooray! Just what I've been searching for!

I've been looking for a true British/European kettle here in the States for years -- but the UK products are wired different, unfortunately, and can't be easily brought over and used here. And the US brands just wear out so quickly -- and are not cheap! They aren't meant for all day tea drinkers like us. But this Duolit kettle is absolutely perfect. A British kettle but with North American wiring. And sustainable too, with replaceable heating element parts, so it's not just thrown away if it ever stops working. Totally worth the money. I'm thrilled.

It's okay but nothing more

I don't love this kettle. It works but it has some serious design flaws, including a lid that gets pretty hot and is difficult to open if you've recently boiled water and need to boil more. Additionally, the kettle itself feels pretty flimsy and has waaaaaay more plastic that I was expecting. Overall, the kettle looks fine on the counter but, honestly, if you care about usability and the price you're paying, this could do so much more. I've had the kettle for about 1.5 years and am already looking for a replacement (note: kettle IS still working but I want more functionality).

Unknown to me.

I must applaud the Dualit on their design. The handle is placed behind the pour spout keeping your hand out of the burning steam. The insulating of the handle will make it safe to pick up. Job well dun!

Seems great

It boils fast, looks nice and I like that it is repairable (although that hopefully won't come up for many years.) We use it multiple times every morning and again at night.

This kettle is made of plastic!

I just received this kettle in the mail and I am shocked and disappointed at the poor quality for the price. Nowhere in the description is it stated that the “copper” and “stainless” are actually just metallic paint on plastic. Even the base is made of plastic.

Amazing kettle...typical Dualit quality

I bought this a month ago, and it boils water super quick. This kettle is good that after it switches off, the water stays hot enough that if you switch it on, it returns to boiling in less than a minute. The only possible issue I have is the high price and the water window is hard to clearly see. I wish it has a light inside.
