Summary

This coffee maker is AMAZING!!! Makes incredible tasting coffee. OXO is such a great brand in all its products. I look forward to every morning where I get to use this coffee maker.

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Big chunky plastic thing with TINY glass carafe. . . . Carafe is 32 oz, but you need 40 oz to make cold brew - why not a 40 oz carafe? The switch wouldn't move, where is the indication that you need to pull on it?? Mesh filter wouldn't come out - and obviously you need a paper filter, so why not just have the paper filter more accessible & standard? Overly complicated and not worth the trouble. I will just keep making my cold brew in my big glass jar & filter it through my Oxo coffeemaker.

Great for batch making cold brew

Have had this for years and love it. My husband did break the carafe while washing it though I have figured out that a 32oz wide mouth mason jar can be used in place of it fairly easily.

Very satisfied

I’m really impressed with the OXO Cold Brew Coffee Maker. Unlike my old one that used a built-in filter, this design lets coffee grounds steep fully in water, giving you a much stronger and more flavorful concentrate. The cold brew extremely bold, rich that I can easily dilute to liking with water or milk. I also love the little detail on the carafe lid, it has a built-in 2 oz measure for the perfect serving. Screw this (pun intended)

I’ve been using this for two years. I like the coffee it makes, but I’m getting fed up with how difficult it is to get the bottom piece unscrewed during cleaning. I have large hands and it’s soooo frustrating to try and get my fingers around the rounded knobs that are recessed into the plastic brewer. Awful design. I need to 3d print a socket or something to go over it so I can get a grip on it. Please fix this! Otherwise, great brewer.
