Breaks Often and No Warranty

Breaks within two years. Brew unit is made to wear out then they charge you to replace it. The quality just isn’t there for something that costs over $2k. Wouldn’t buy one again, and want to warn others it’s so bad.

Grinder stuck on first day. No good.

We were excited for our first automatic machine. We’ve been using La marzocco Linea mini for many years and wanted to add automatic machine for lazy days. Although it’s a downgrade, we thought Miele as a reputable brand, it should work great especially seeing reviews about perfect milk froth. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The machine would dispense grounded beans as used but the machine never recognized the grounded beans. It kept showing fill beans. Then grinder was stuck a few times. (We attempted many tried on first day.) Questionable quality. Returned the machine. Conclusion is Miele automatic machine not so reliable.

Okay espresso machine - expected more for the $$

Taste: coffee is good, milk froth, okay. Grinder is great. Took some time to update the settings, but the profiles aren’t that user friendly. Cleaning and descaling is a pain, but the most annoying feature is that the milk pipe cleaning drains into the base and uses a large amount of water. We re constantly emptying the tray and filling the water. My previous machine dispensed into a cup from the spout, so I could switch out cups more frequently. And only swap out the base for the small amount of spills, etc that tend to occur.

Excellent coffe but poor contained design

Makes better coffee than Jura IMHO but the water contained & ground waste contained are too small & if you drink a lot of coffee you will be continually filling the water tank & emptying the waste & it will drive you crazy.

Put this coffee maker to complement newly renovated kitchen with all Miele appliances. Easily fit into counter space in a walk-in pantry. Very easy to start up and program for individualized. Taste for coffee automatically cleans itself before and after drink production. So far it has been perfection after About a month worth of use
