- Adjust grind level by turning coffee bean container clockwise or counterclockwise.
- Turn dual steam and hot water wand clockwise to dispense hot water. Turn counterclockwise to dispense steam to prepare milk foam for cappuccinos and caffè lattes.

- To ensure optimal performance, clean all parts after each use.
- Milk jug is top-rack dishwasher safe.
- Hand-wash all other parts.
- Wipe exterior clean with damp cloth.
- When orange indicator light appears, it is time to descale machine.

inconsistent pours but cute, not worth the price.

Really having a hard time getting machine to give consistent pours. read all the literature, have used many espresso machines...still very inconsistent results.

$900 Paperweight and Poor Smeg Customer Service

My husband purchased this as a Valentines gift. The first one, the grinder did not work and WS sent me another. The second one lasted just over a year, with minimal use. There is no pressure and water leaks from the unit. Smeg customer service offered no help and told me to google a repair man in my area! No repair service in my area (NYC/CT) would touch Smeg products. I emailed and called with no solution. I have 7 Smeg products and this will certainly be my last. So if you want a $900 paperweight with poor customer service, then this is the machine for you. We ended up getting a new Breville at WS, which I love.

Grinder broken in a few weeks. Do NOT buy. We were very happy for the first few weeks and this stopped working over night.

So far so good. I have had several machines in the $1k range and wanted to go back to a more manual machine due to the mold issues I was having with two other machines. It’s cute, makes a great drink! Very little options for the machine to grow mold!

Love the brand and love the simplicity of use. Really similar to the Breville coffee machine and works almost the same very easy to get used to.

Unreliable machine - buyer beware!

We purchased this machine about a month ago. We only received it 26 days ago. I tried to return by tapping return and Williams Sonoma claims I can no longer return via the website. It stopped working this morning. It gurgles as though it’s going to make the espresso, then it stops working and the buttons start flashing as though it’s heating. I tried calling Smeg directly - their USA customer service and after being on hold 45 minutes I get a recording that no one is available! Truly you cannot make this up. I am praying that someone will help me replace this item. It is beautiful on the counter but if it doesn’t work I have an 800 dollar eyesore.

I love Williams and Sonoma, though I will NEVER purchase a SMEG product again. Didn’t work right out of the box!
