Use
- Caution: Blades are very sharp. Do not touch the blades.
Care
- Hand-wash. Never immerse the Soup Maker in water. Do not clean in the dishwasher.
- Hold the handle of the jug with one hand and with the other hand lift the motor unit off the jug by its handgrip.
- Clean the blade unit and overflow sensor by rinsing them under the tap. If necessary, clean them with a soft brush.
- Clean the inside of the jug under the tap. If necessary, add dishwashing liquid and use a soft brush.
- Clean the top part of the motor unit and the outside of the jug with a moist cloth.

OPERATIONAL DIRECTIONS / INSTRUCTIONS AND BOOKLET

The instruction booklet in my opinion needs to be revised. The basic operation of the buttons and what they do is not at all clearly defined. which leave you guessing to their specific function. As well as one needs a magnifying glass to read the print. the founts aer nearly microscopic. I would not recommend this unit.

Only puree soup

Everything gets puréed. I reference the user manual repeatedly read the directions and yet I’m having to still try to work out how to get a chunky soup other than stop the machine and put the vegetables in at the end just to warm up My disappointment however, lies with WilliamSonoma. Its policy on price adjustment seems wasteful and unnecessary for good customers who usually don’t return items. I have my soup maker just under a month when it went on sale and was told no price adjustment can be done. I hadn’t had my pasta maker not even one week when it went on sale for $80 less! That’s a big deal for me. I’m a (very) small business owner and free time cooking is what I look forward to when I get a break. The pasta maker and soup maker were a splurge. But the only way to get the price adjustment, I was told both by the store and by customer service is to return the pasta maker and buy a new one. I feel that would be wasting products even if they are products I’m still working out the kinks with. WilliamSonoma needs a better price adjustment policy.

Awesome soup maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second soup maker as I used to have an older generation which lasted many years before I gave it away and bought a new one. For someone who loves soup but also too busy to make it every day, it's really easy to use and saves time. Using this soup maker also helped me to reach my desired weight and maintain it.
