Cuisinart Griddler Grill, Griddle & Panini Press

Great product!

We had one for several years and saw them on sale at a close out store. Bought a new one and put it away. The old one finally gave it up and now we enjoy the new one. Eggs, pancakes, salmon, burgers, this gadget does it all,

One griddle for every household

Replacement for old griddle. We being used same product las 5-6 years. Old one finely give up to giving me chance to get brand new one.

I am having the same problem as other people below. The top side does not get hot enough, impossible to make waffles, they turn up good on the bottom side and uncooked/soggy on the top and if you try to use it as a griddle then again the difference is obvious, items in the bottom side are being cooked while they are still row on the plate that is at the top part. Very dissapointed.

Great in theory, needs some improvement

I bought this late last year and have used it many times. I like the convenience of being able to put the plates in the dishwasher. For the most part, we like it. However, the top plate doesn’t seem to get as hot as the bottom when using as a press. And when using it in the open position, it gets hot at first but doesn’t retain the heat at all. It takes much longer to cook because I’m constantly waiting for it to heat back up.

Awesome we love it , very versatile for many different foods great addition to our kitchen.

Subpar performance and poor design

I was really excited to find an all in one, griddle plus panini press, with an option to add waffle plates later on. I usually get CuisineArt products based on their reliability and quality, however, not so much with this one. Pros: All in one, easy to use, removable plates Panini press does what it needs to do Cons: The griddle doesn't get hot enough, even at the highest temperature! So you end up with unevenly cooked pancakes, or they take forever to cook, which was my experience. The griddle feature is a nice idea, but forget making eggs or omelettes. The design of the plates causes the liquid egg mixture to slide right out into the catch tray. Why wouldn't anyone test this prior to release? Overall, I felt that this was overpriced for something that should at least just work enough to get hot. Maybe I got a lemon. Overall I would return this.

Poor heat retention and too small

We had the smokeless grill/griddle and it died so we bought this one as a replacement. The grill area is too small, the picture online is quite deceptive, I am able to cook maybe 3 eggs on it, and cooking eggs and pancakes is only frustrating. The heat is not reliable or steady, making cooking difficult. I am very disappointed in this purchase.

Really enjoying it

I'm loving it! Easy to use, easy to clean. I wish I could store it on it's side, but overall, I'm really happy with the purchase.

Great for Seniors

This was my second one and it is just perfect for cooking for two of us and I think we wore it out so I just purchased the Griddler with smoke-less mode. We will have the older one as a second griddler when needed for larger meals/family.
