    What I wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only disappointment is in the lid, when grating products the rotation of the blade forces product into a triangular recess in the.lid by the entry chute requires a skewer or knife to clean.

Multifunctional device that replaces many things

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it for cutting, chopping, and grating. The best thing is everything fits back so you never lose parts.

    Perfect addition to the kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 7 cup Food Processor to replace and older unit, and I wish I had done it sooner. Its more powerful, more compact, and easier to clean. I'm a fan of the magnetic connection when attaching it, no more annoying catches.

    Lovely Machine

This was my first food processor. Loved the size, easy/intuitive to use. Love that there is no twisting involved to lock the bowl and the lid into place. Latch that holds the lid down broke pretty early on, but simply holding lid down solved that. Then daughter used it, well, tried to use it to chop up dates. Motor burned up/froze up, not sure which, but only solution to that problem is to replace. Getting a larger model with more bells and whistles, but will not be allowing dates anywhere near it!

    Not great

My $25 magic bullet does better than this product. Not sure if the motor is bad, or it just sucks

    Good functionality, easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it does everything I want from a food processor - makes big batches of soffrito, smash biscuits for cheesecake bases, process chicken breast into koftas. I haven't tried making shortbread with it yet but I'm sure it will cope. Motor seems nice and powerful. My main concern about getting a food processor was whether it would be so fiddly to clean I would never use it. No worries here: the blade easily comes out of the jug, and the lid detaches so you can clean without it getting in the way. There is a permanent 'spindle' at the bottom of the jug but heaps of room so you can clean around it. It's also dishwasher safe but I find it easy to clean just in the sink. Capacity is pretty decent - easily managed three chicken breasts for the koftas. If you're cooking for more than say four people you might need bigger.
