Excellent Upgrade for Our Waffle Loving Family

We love how easy it is to use and clean. The intelligent timing and clear display simply the process which makes it easy to use even before coffee. The overflow area makes cleaning up a breeze. Would recommend.

Making the best waffles in the whole world.

I purchased this waffle maker 2 years ago from Williams-Sonoma, not long after its introduction. After a long discussion with the factory rep, I decided to pop for the rather over-engineered 4-waffle machine. Having gone through 4 waffle machines over 45+ years, this is clearly the most solid one yet. No sign as yet of any unequal cooking areas — the downfall of nearly all “wafflers,” as their heating elements age, leading to undercooked, inedible waffles. Sturdily built, but not so heavy that it is only for commercial use. I have returned to old-timey recipes of the Joy of Cooking, eliminating the yoghurt, sour cream, blueberries, and various seeds of exotic 80’s era experiments. The granddaughter loves the waffles, like the rest of the family; hopefully, she will soon proclaim, echoing her mother of 40 years go, “Grampa, you make the best waffles in the whole world.” ‘Nuff said.

Just the right amount of crispiness

Huge upgrade from the Cuisinart waffle maker we used to own. Very noticeable texture difference in the waffles. Love the timer function so the kids know how long before they get to eat them.

A Must-Have Kitchen Appliance

Absolutely sensational. We all thoroughly enjoy having waffles on Sundays. It is such a breeze. Take it out from the upper cabinet and make waffles without any mess right there just below the storage cabinet. When waffles are effortlessly made to my liking, I can do other things such as making coffee or checking bacons in the oven.

A Keeper!

We have a small collection of vintage waffle irons which have made many appearances over the past 40 years - this 4 square Breville was practically free via Nextdoor due to its size ( which is far from petite) so we decided to scoop it up neatly new ..:/It’s fantastic- crisp exteriors and tender centers every time. I prefer yeasted waffle recipe from the wonderful Brown Sugar Kitchen , fine but never forgotten. Fabulous waffle iron.

Great Purchase

Wonderful waffle maker - makes one or two good size Belgian style waffles in about 5 minutes - cooked to your desired level of doneness. My guests loved them and, they were so easy to make. I especially like the spill-over trough which makes clean-up easier and, the stand up, coiled cord way of storage. Very happy with this purchase! A well made machine - highly recommended.

Outstanding Waffle System

Breville has transformed our morning waffle theatrics to a precise, structured ballet of flavor. Incredibly intuitive and simple to use, training my children on the tool was straightforward and simple. Repeatable results, and every convenience you could want without being over-complicated. Excellent waffle iron. Waffles come out clean every time with absolutely no sticking. Easy to use and wipes clean with a damp paper towel. Highly recommend.
