Mostly functional

The knife tray is well made but I do have some issues with the design. The blade rests are spaced very far apart and it's easy to miss and need to reseat the blade. Not a huge issue but more of a minor inconvenience. Knives with lighter blades/heavier handles (specifically my expensive Japanese chef's knife) tend to rock back to rest on the handle and then rock back and forth when I open and close the drawer. I will probably try a magnetic bar and see if I like that better.

Large knife drawer tray

Had one that looked similar but the smaller knives kept bouncing out of the slots. This one solved the problem.

Excellent Fit!

I wanted to have my knives handy, protected from damage, and safe for access. This size fits my Wusthof long serrated knife, 6" chef's knife, honing steel, steak knives and a different brand pizza cutter, short serrated and paring knives. I still have room in the drawer for my cutlery tray. I'm in an apartment with limited space. I couldn't get a block or a magnetic holder. I compared other brands and Wusthof's had the best dimensions, build quality and best price.

Perfect Drawer Knife Block!

This knife block worked perfectly for my beautiful new Wusthof Knife set. As much as I loved the knife block that came with my set, I wanted to have the knives available to use at my island but I wanted my island counter clear of anything. So the large in drawer knife block was the solution and the quality is excellent.
