    Summary

Designed in-house by the Williams Sonoma product design team, our Elite cutlery collection combines professional-grade materials with the favorite performance features our customers have most loved over the years. World-renowned cutlery masters in Solingen, Germany, forge each blade of CrMoV15 stainless steel, which offers superior edge retention as well as resistance to chipping and corrosion. The blade's demi-bolster provides a more ergonomic grip while also allowing for full blade sharpening, and a durable POM handle feels comfortable and secure in the hand. This Japanese-style santoku is a versatile knife for chopping and slicing, and indentations on the blade edge reduce drag and minimize sticking.

    • Precision forged from German CrMoV15 stainless steel that resists stains and corrosion.
    • Hollow-ground indentations along blade increase efficiency and decrease sticking.
    • Full tang blade is triple riveted to handle for exceptional balance and control.
    • Demi-bolster facilitates honing and sharpening entire length of cutting edge.
    • Durable POM handle resist moisture, heat and fading.
    • A Williams Sonoma exclusive.

    Use & Care

    Use

    • Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
    • Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal or glass.
    • It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone, as other blades can be easily damaged.

    Care

    • Hand-wash with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and dry immediately.
    • Maintain the knife's cutting edge by regularly using a honing steel.
    • Sharpen as needed. With regular use and honing, you should not need to sharpen your knife more than once or twice a year.
    • Sharpen knife at home using a whetstone or knife sharpener, or have it sharpened by a professional.
    • Store knife in a safe place to protect its edge and prevent injury.

I’m very impressed with this knife!

This kitchen knife exceeded my expectations. I mince fresh herbs daily and the pieces stick to the sides of my other knives. This knife doesn’t do that. This knife is beautifully made and has a solid feel with heft. The size is just right, also. I only recently learned about this type of knife and I had never spent this much money on a knife. It’s worth it!

    Awesome

Awesome. I had been looking for replacement of my much loved and well worn small chef’s knife that is no longer available. Nothing felt quite the same until I picked this one up in the store Brought it home with the assurance that I could return it if I didn’t like it loved it the first time I used it. It’s my new go to knife.
