Shun Classic Bread Knife, 9"
I'd like to know where the rest of my order is?? The sharpening steel and the 3 piece starter set of knives. They were supposed to a gift for someone on JUNE 15TH. Not that she wasn't just thrilled to get a bread knife.

This knife goes through hard and soft bread like butter. And it looks so good too.

Great for slicing rustic bread
Great for cutting rustic loaves of bread. This replaced an 8" flat, serrated, German knife I've had for decades (professionally sharpened), and the curve of the blade makes it much easier to cut through the tough bottom crust of a round loaf of bread than with any straight-bladed knife. It's hefty: it would be nice if it were slightly thinner so as not to bind up as much while cutting a dense loaf, but it's no thicker than the knife it replaced or the other knives on offer. It looks great, feels great, and is a massive upgrade over my old knife for cutting through tough loaves of bread.

Great knife for super-thin slices of bread, cakes, etc. Bought my wife a second knife for our second house.

I have numerous Shun knives but this was amazing and makes life worth it more to have a bread knife that is flawless!
