    Use & Care

    Use

    • Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
    • Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal and glass.
    • It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone, as other blades can be easily damaged.

    Care

    • Dishwasher safe. However, we recommend hand-washing with warm water and mild detergent for best results. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
    • Use honing steel regularly to maintain cutting edge of blade.
    • Sharpen as needed. With regular use and honing, knife should not need sharpening more than once or twice per year.
    • Sharpen knife at home using whetstone or knife sharpener, or have it sharpened by a professional.
    • Store knife in safe place to protect edge and prevent injury.

    High Quality Chef’s Knives.

    Excellent 8” blade Chef’s Knife, Zwilling Star Eco Chef’s knife. Purchased 3 and sent them to my 2 daughters and youngest sister.     Nice quality knife

    I often use my paring knives, and this Zwilling is comfortable in my hand and slices veggies well. The sale price was just right. Nice quality is important to me, but I don't spend absurd amounts of money on knives, so I cannot compare this brand with the very high end ones. This suits my needs fine.

    Not a High-End as I Hoped!

    I wanted to try this new (to me) brand of knife but for the price, I was a bit disappointed! It just doesn't have the weight, feel, or balance I was looking for. It will work for now but I will keep searching.

    My First "Good" Knife

    Bought this knife for Christmas, for myself. Worked in many kitchens & watched a lot of cooking shows. Know how to care for good knives. This knife feels good in my small hand. However, I thought it would be sharper. Also annoyed that it took over 2 1/2 months to get here. Glad I didn't pay any more than I did.
