The wife loved it!!
Bought this as a gift for my wife and she was definitely impressed with the functionality and beauty of this knife. Expensive yes, but to see the joy on my wife’s face was worth the price 😊

My favorite knife
I have the 8 inch knife. It's beautiful and very sharp. I can slice through a watermelon as if it was butter and that is no exaggeration. It's my favorite knife but over time I'm getting little chips in the blade. I need to send it off to be sharpened. This knife made preparing food a much more enjoyable experience that any other knife I've ever had.

Should have bought 1 40 years ago!
Beautiful knife in your hand and in use. Well balanced and nice weight. Great knife from day one. I bought this and its paring knife sibling and between the two I have almost no desire to use one of my old knives. I’m tempted to buy the full range even though I have been able to cover pretty much everything with just the two. Regular use of honing and strop and the edge lasted close to a year. It probably would have lasted longer, but I thought I’d use the zwilling knife sharpener on it. That was a mistake, but I’m confident with a whetstone and some time I can bring the blade back to like new condition.

Front point broke off
The front point of the knife broke off within a few months of regular use. I was shopping vegetables and the front nearly 1 cm just cracked off

I recently purchased this and the knife is beautiful. It is scary sharp, it effortlessly slices throught meat and produce and holds its edge very nicely. The handle is very comfortable and I am quite a fan of the heel of the blade. Its a real game changer for changer as a home cook, cant wait to do more with it.

Fake knife
The knife is laser etched you can clearly see that on the spine of the blade there is no damascus pattern.

Beautiful as it is sharp
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful as it is sharp. Looking forward to many years of use. Was looking for a blade that was made by craftsman level process, but not really expensive yet not just banged out of a huge factory.
