    • It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone, as other blades can be easily damaged.

    • Sharpen as needed. With regular use and honing once a week, your knife should not need sharpening more than once or twice a year.

    Wonderful carving set

    I gave this as a gift to a family member who loves to grill meat and he was overjoyed to receive it.

    Disappointed

    Quality of knife and fork are exceptional but for that price I would have expected a nicer case- just saying if you going to buy something that beautiful a well constructed case to keep them in to last as long as the knife would be a nice touch.

    I received this as a gift and used it for Thanksgiving. Carving the turkey has never been easier. Although the blade looks delicate it is very sturdy. Several people used it to do their own bit of turkey carving and the knife held up beautifully! I do wish the set had been available with the Shun Hiro handles. My set came in a nice, durable storage box.
