Use & Care
Use
- Board should be seasoned with food-grade mineral oil before first use.
- To season board properly, warm mineral oil slightly and apply in direction of wood grain using clean, dry cloth. Allow oil to soak in and repeat with another application. Allow board to dry and wipe off any excess oil.
Care
- Hand-wash with hot, soapy water. Dry thoroughly.
- Do not soak or submerge board in water.
- Occasionally rub with food-safe mineral oil to keep wood from drying out.
- To sanitize, wash board with solution of one part vinegar to five parts water.
- Remove odors by rubbing board with kosher or table salt and half a lemon. Let sit for 2–3 minutes then wipe clean with damp cloth. Remove excess moisture with clean paper towel, and stand board on end to air-dry.
- Store in dry area away from extreme temperatures.

Haves Loved this Board but seams have split over t

Currently looking for a replacement for this board for my bf’s birthday. He loved it until it split at all the seams, currently looking for another option.

A wedding gift that didn’t last!

We got this board as a wedding gift from our registry. We’ve loved it and have used it for often (especially for London broil etc). We’ve never placed it in a dishwasher or soaked it but still it is now split at all horizontal seams where the wood was put together. I wasn’t so upset when it started leaking but at this point it’s unusable.

Warped after 1 use

Our board warped and cracked after one use. Very dissapointed

Not worth it

Worst product ever purchased thru Williams Sonoma. Only took one month for it to warp. So it doesn’t sit evenly on the counter. So not recommend.

Beautiful craftsmanship

My maple cutting board just came and it is so beautiful I'm in no hurry to put it to use. It's a piece of art. Pride in craftsmanship shows. Size (16x12). I also purchased the Boos cream to make sure I keep it conditioned so it will last for years to come.
