These steak knives are produced to the same exacting specifications as professional-quality kitchen cutlery and deftly slice through even the thickest steaks, from Porterhouse to rib-eye. Each knife has a tang that extends the entire length of the handle for superb balance. The blades are stamped from a single piece of high-carbon stainless steel for superior edge retention. Presented in a beechwood storage box, the knives are inspired by architect Matteo Thun, who has contributed his design expertise to our Zwilling Pro collection.

Use & Care
- Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
- Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal or glass.
- It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone, as other blades can be easily damaged.
Care
- Hand-wash with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and dry immediately.
- Maintain the knife's cutting edge by regularly using a honing steel.
- Sharpen as needed. With regular use and honing, your knife should not need sharpening more than once or twice a year.
- Sharpen knife at home using a whetstone or knife sharpener, or have it sharpened by a professional.
- Store knife in a safe place to protect its edge and prevent injury.

Good product; buy it elsewhere

Nice product but terrible company to purchase from. Williams Sonoma’s customer service representatives were inconsiderate when I called to request a price adjustment when the item went on sale just days after I ordered it. After multiple requests, they finally offered a merchandise card reflecting the discount instead of a refund (almost an hour on the phone) — most retailers have far better customer support and extended guarantees on price. WS does not. And they also have hidden return fees if you don’t want to keep an item.

Alright.

Nice sharp knives, but the transition from the blade to handle is abrupt. I bought two sets of these and they are sharp and non serrated so they can be sharpened. However, there is not much weight to them and they have an abrupt transition at the bottom of the blade to the handle. There should be more a of a guard here. I probably should’ve returned and went with a pro model.

Excellent, very sharp knives

We were shopping for steak knives . . . there were serrated ones on sale, but I don't like serrated ones. We lucked out (at a kitchen store) with a clerk who used to work for Zwilling. She was able to explain how the knives were made and so on, showing us this set amongst others. We liked the feel of this Porterhouse set in our hands far better than any of the others, so we purchased them and received them a few days ago. They are very sharp and cut through steak and thick pork chops smoothly. I am SO glad we did not get the harsher serrated. We can't be happier.
