Use
- Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
- Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal and glass.
- It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone, as other blades can be easily damaged.
Care
- Hand-wash with warm water and mild detergent.
- Rinse and dry immediately.
- Sharpen once or twice per month. For best results, we recommend using pull-through sharpener to maintain ideal blade angle.

Poor quality bamboo case. Steak knives are perfect

These steak knives our beautiful and well made, heavy, but not too heavy. The handles are made of black wood with some heft. We had anticipated the bamboo casing would not be easy to open and close, as the other reviewers stated. We keep these in the case in a separate drawer with the lid sitting on top. These knives are sharp and have kept their edges. We have several sets of knives and a professional knife sharpener purchased at Williams Sonoma several years ago. You won’t be disappointed in the these knives, they are contemporary and go well with any flatware.

Best knives we've ever had..and we're in our 60's

We just used these knives for the first time and WOW is all I can say. My daughter and fiance were visiting and he ordered them after using them. They are SHARP! We had steaks and they cut through like we were cutting butter. I will say the box lid was difficult getting on and off. Not sure if ours was slightly warped or not. Husband sanded down the sides so it would fit better, then used some wax so it would slide. But that has no bearing on these knives..Amazing quality...hand wash to keep them amazing!
