    Use & Care

    Use

    • Ideal for use on any type of cooktop, including induction.
    • Oven and broiler safe to 500°F.
    • Use wood, plastic or heat-resistant nylon tools to avoid scratching the nonstick surface.

    Care

    • Allow pan to cool before washing.
    • Hand-wash.
    • Nonstick cookware is naturally subject to wear and tear. We recommend replacing your pans as needed, or approximately every five years.
    • Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents.
    • Stubborn food residue and stains on exterior can be removed with a nylon scrubbing pad and a fine-powdered cleanser.
    • If desired, the exterior copper ring can be cleaned with a copper polish.

    High quality, All-Clad could do better on service

    Highest quality, best constructed non-stick on the market. I however do understand that non-sticks don't last forever. These pans are a luxury item. Just because you pay 6X more doesn't mean they will last 6 times longer, or even twice as long. You buy these because you can. Even with great care. I have owned 7 Copper-Core Non-sticks. On my 2nd 12" which we love, and have a 3rd, new one waiting in the wings, along with an 8" & 10" for someday. Also have a complete set of Copper-Core all stainless. Very well made. So why not 5 stars? First of all, they are all VERY HEAVY, and I'm 6'6" 275lbs. Know what you are getting into, not on the fry-pans, they are manageable, but on anything larger. The other reason, is I do not like All-Clads customer service responses. They blame everyone else and never take any responsibility. Yes, I read the bad reviews, yes, the scrambled egg guy, you could tell he didn't use butter. Never seen the Alligator cracking on any of mine, so yes, perhaps those were over-heated, but can't they do at least a little to help out their clients? That or utilize a more durable surface?

    Will not sit flat

    Disappointed in this product paid big $'s waited about a year to receive in and now I prefer the much lower cost heavy non-stick pans. The fry pan warped on me almost immediately, it may have been delivered that way. I have an induction stove top warping is a bigger issue for this type top. My original desire was to get better heat transfer with the copper core non-stick like the sauce pans. Not sure this is the same copper core it will not shine up like my other all-clad copper core pans. My recommendation is to buy the much lower cost non-stick pans and do not waste you money on the over price pan.

    Love it.

    Beautiful non-stick pan that gave perfect results on the gass-top electric stove and in the oven. Easy clean-up. Pricey, but it was my Christmas present to myself; so a little self- indulgence has made me very happy.

    Expensive but great….

    I am using a 12” on a professional grade stand alone induction cook top. I normally cook on a Wolf Gas range. The pan is vastly superior in terms of its conductivity: The pan heats up to temp very quickly and it heat is absolutely!! uniform w/ no hot or cold spots.. The non-stick surface is beyond a doubt the best I have ever experienced ( I have 50+ years as a pretty focused home cook and some experience as a professional cook many decades ago. The gold standard test is to fry two eggs (room temp please) using a tiny splash of EVO w/ a grind of black pepper to infuse the oil. Med Temp. In a word a fried egg is just a thing of beauty and taste. It takes some experimenting to get a perfect color on a filet or veggies(most an induction top issue.) I am buying a smaller 10” to go with the 12 pan. FYI The sides are wonderfully deep and the handle is longish but perfectly balanced. yes it is proxy but it this case worth it. DO NOT USE metal utensils in this pan. Take away: Sometimes you get what you pay for.

    Copper Trim Wore Off!!!

    Copper Trim Wore Off!! I chose this version and a sauce pan based on the copper trim. After one month it has faded away. I thought it was a real copper trim. The sales girl said it was… I would have purchased the plain version if I had known it was going to wash off. I think this is lame.

    All Clad open fan pan

    It is great! Heats evenly, nothing sticks to the surface! Clean up is always very easy.

    Great pan, for about 60 days

    I’ve unfortunately reached my max patience with all-clad non-stick pans. They are not made well and the non-stick will start peeling from the edges of the pan within 60 days. Highly advise avoiding if you actually use your pans daily. Customer service from both Williams Sonoma and ALl-Clad are a joke. They point to each other and neither will take responsibility or live up to the states warranties. Do not buy.
