    Love my stainless steel pan!

It is nice to have a new Thermo-Clad(TM)Stainless-Steel frying pan to go with my whole set. I love them all and use them everyday.

    Still Testing

When I bought new cookware 5 years ago to use on my new induction cooktop, I thought it would be the last time I'd need to by cookware. But the William Sonoma non-stick coating didn't hold up well at all, especially on the frying pan. To test this brand, I bought the smallest pot last year and loved it. So I just bought this 10 inch frying pan. I used it for bacon on Thanksgiving morning and it cooked and almost as importantly, cleaned up beautifully. The next test will be hamburgers.

    Nothing remarkable. Study and solid.

It is a great frying pan, but nothing makes it any more special than other frying pans in the same class. If it had a feature that set it apart, then it would earn 5 stars.

    Handles make the pan sometimes

Recently replaced a 30 yr old electric Jenn-air downdraft range tgat had old style electric eyes. Went with new glass top electric range. Found out every pot I had was warped or dinged up in some way. Decided to try a puece 8f the D3 All Clad. Right out of the shipping box, the handle hurt my hand to even just try to hold or lift it. I have small hands with beginning arthritis. They have a thin, almost ushaped "sharp" handle...not ergo at all. Returned. Today received two pieces of WS Thermo-clad. A marriage of Hestan and WS made in Italy. At least I can stand to lift it out of the box! The skillet and everyday pan are stunningly beautiful, and the larger ergonomic tapering on the handle makes all the difference. Also, thanks to the shipping department who got my special shipment fullfilled and out the door in an hour!!!!!!

    Well balanced pan

Pros: similar performance to All Clad Tri-ply (heat conductivity/retention) but with more aesthetically pleasing appearance, slightly higher sidewalls is useful with one-pan recipes for family, enough cooking surface to fit about 3-4 pork chops. Cons: value for money at MSRP is not for everyone

    AWFUL!!!

First time I used it (grilled cheese), the pan turned BLACK. Used cooking spray, Med-Hi heat. and it turned black. Had to spend the next 30 minutes scrubbing with baking soda and still could not get it completely clean. I expected much better for this money.

Great everyday pan for many types of cooking

We got this pan as part of a set for a wedding gift and absolutely love it. Despite not having a coated nonstick surface, the pan is still relatively non-stick and easy to clean. It retains heat very well and the heat is very even throughout the pan. We use it on an induction cook too and it works great. Love having the lid for the recipes/meals that require covering. We have this in a couple of sizes and love them all. We were looking at the Williams Sonoma set vs the All-Clad D5 set and pretty much all things even, the handles on this pan was the deciding factor. It’s very comfortable in the hand and stays cool.

    Amazing results!

I'm a little surprised that these pans only have four reviews. They work and perform just as good as All-Clad's D5 pots and pans. They heat up quickly and evenly. The handles are more comfortable to hold and they clean up beautifully with BKF.

    Perfect Everyday Pan!!

I've been eyeing these pans for a long time and then finally decided to get the 10" fry pan. It's perfect for everyday cooking, and the size is big enough for me to cook and prep my meals for a week! The side of the pan is a bit higher than regular fry pans, which allows you fit more in the pan. Just remember to deglaze it correctly, and clean up is a breeze! At first I thought there was something wrong with the pan because it had this film on it after washing, but turned out to just be a little starch and rubbing a lemon on it took it right off and made my pan nice and shiny like new!
