    Lid and steamer problem

This is a replacement, but has the same problem as the first one: the lid and the steamer do not sit flush with the pot and don’t sit flat and wobbles from side to side if you push them from one side.

    Versatile and beautiful

I love this pan. Thought it was a little crazy at my age buying such an expensive unit but it is well worth it. It is light weight, easy to clean and beautiful to look at. It has so many uses and cooks everything perfectly. Will be replacing my 55 year old Faberware pots with more WS Thermo Clad.

    A wonderful steamer

This steamer is so versatile, I bought 2 of the same pots. 1 for a friend as house warming gift, she likes it very much so i bought one for myself 2 years ago. Another friend saw it and she asked me to get one for her. It is a pot you can use for many years.

    Wrong measurements in description

I have not used the steam&braise oven so I will not comment on its performance. However, the Williams Sonoma website states: 6 1/2-QT. BRAISER 14" diam. (18 1/2" with handles), 3 3/4" high (5 3/4" high with lid) Insert: 14" diam., 3 1/2" high; 10 lb. 8 oz.; 6 1/2-qt. cap. By my measurements not including handles, it is 12.5 inches in diameter, about 4 inches high with insert being 12.5 inches in diameter and about 3 1/4 inches high. Total weight was about 8 1/2 lbs. These measurements need to be corrected. This is not the first time I have found the websites measurements to be off.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this steamer!!!

I have been looking for a long time for a steamer with a large surface steam basket. This is the one!!! I can steam several different vegetables at once. It holds 12 roasting ears with no problem. It is also a beautiful piece of cookware and cleans up like a dream. So HAPPY with my purchase!

    Good steamer

Needed a stainless steel steamer with wide circumference/short height for dyeing wool yarns. This was expensive but works really well on outdoor portable stove. It will steam for a l-o-n-g time without boiling dry. I like it.

Have been looking for this all my life!

If your into a healthy lifestyle, and high quality, then this is a must have. Traditional steamers (I have found) are to narrow and cook unevenly, constantly having to move the vegetation. This however with its wide basket cooks perfect and fast. Even a mix of Plantain, lambs quarters, Rapini and carrots.....all perfectly done, but not over done. I have owned it for 2 months now, and use it most every day. And it looks good enough to sit atop my Wolf waiting for the next use. I'm sure its equally as great for its other uses, but I bought it primarily as a steamer.

    Nicesteamer

This is the best steamer, the way they design the top cover is heavy and strong enough to save all the steam inside the steamer. I really like it and used it every week for chinese bun and steam pot sticker also fish. The only negative thing I want to say is I wish the water pot had more space so I do not have to add water all the time when I steam a big portions.

    great multiuse pan

this pan has more flat area for sautéing and lower sides. the sides are high enough to cook lots of food. I haven't used the steamer as much as I thought I would but sure I will. the top fits so tight that I do not have to user my blower to take up steam - I just wish I had bought this sooner.
