Use & Care
Use
- Ideal for use on all cooktops, including induction.
- Oven and broiler safe.
- To season after each use, clean the pan, and apply a thin layer of vegetable oil on the inside and outside surfaces while still warm.
- Handles can become very hot. Always use pot holders or gloves when handling.
Care
- Hand-wash with hot water and a stiff nylon brush; do not use soap or harsh detergents.
- Dry thoroughly and season with vegetable oil.
- Store in a dry location.

Excellent for Paella or Mexican Rice
Cast iron provides an exceptional cooking surface for rice based dishes as Mexican Rice and Paella. This brand is a warranty for success and good flavor. I bought it with the lid. This small size is perfect for two-four people and fits in my induction stove circled area.

Putting oil on it after use?
I havent used it yet, thats the reason for a middle of the road rating. But I do have a question. The instructions says it's already seasoned which is fine. Next there are instructions that says, after use, clean properly and then put a coating of oil on it. I"m confused because if I'm going to put it away for the next use, why am I putting it away with oil on it?

Versatile
Size and usage is good. So far we’ve made meatballs and a pear crisp. It also cooks greens well. Clean up isn’t difficult. Love the two handles and versatility.

Poor customer service
I ordered this pan as a gift for my sister for her birthday. It was shipped in a very flimsy box for such a heavy item, and was delivered broken. I called to have it exchanged, and now my sister has to pack it up and ship it back. I was very disappointed. I ordered from Williams Sonoma and not Amazon to avoid something like this from happening.
