Use & Care
Use
- Ideal for use on any type of cooktop, including induction.
- Oven and broiler safe.
- To season after each use, clean the pan, and apply a thin layer of vegetable oil on the inside and outside surfaces while still warm.
- Handles can become very hot. Always use pot holders or gloves when handling.
Care
- Hand-wash with hot water and stiff nylon brush; do not use soap or harsh detergents.
- Dry thoroughly and season with vegetable oil.
- Store in a dry location.

The Lodge seasoned double handle griddled pan is perfect for my new induction range. It works perfectly for frying bacon. I must admit the I like the smoothness of Le Creuset cast iron pans better.

Amazingly versatile kitchen aid
I have been looking for exactly this design in cast iron for years. I am so happy to have found a SQUARE, not round, cast iron pan with short handles. The closest thing I could find was a ridged "grill pan". This pan is great for stove-top, grill-top, regular kitchen oven as as a wood-burning or gas-fired pizza oven. The two handles allow you to get a firm grip on a piping hot pan. You can sear, bake, roast and serve.
