Le Creuset Rice cooker

I really like this cute rice cooker. It’s a lovely little pot. However the big drawback to this pan is the inner ceramic lid. If you accidentally break it you are not able to buy a replacement lid from Le Creuset. I gave them feedback saying they should correct this but don’t have high hopes. That aside I like the way my rice turned out. I cooked white jasmine rice and used the 1 cup rice to 1 1/4 c water per their video which was perfect. I haven’t tried other rices and am not sure of the correct ratio yet. I wish they provided instructions for brown and black rices and other grains.

Too cute to pass up and it rocks

This adorable rice pot is idiot proof, quick, makes excellent rice dishes and easy to clean up. I own over 2 dozen LC pots - not to mention a very high end Japanese rice cooker - and this pot is a joy to use/clean up. I highly recommend LC's black enameled pots; i.e., this rice pot and the Balti pot and the wok as well - for healthy cooking.
