Use & Care
Use
- Ideal for all types of cooktops, including induction.
- Oven safe to 500°F.
- Before first use, wash interior with care and dry thoroughly with kitchen towel or soft cloth.
- Always cook over moderate heat, and never heat pan when empty.
- High heat is not recommended. Start with medium heat and reduce to lower setting when food is added.
- Do not use aerosol cooking spray oils on nonstick surface.
Care
- Allow pan to cool before washing.
- Dishwasher safe; hand-wash recommended.
- Nonstick cookware is naturally subject to wear and tear. We recommend replacing your pans as needed, or approx. every five years.
- Avoid using steel wool, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners.

Perfect pan

Perfect size/perfect pan for small sauce and gravy making. Also, two bowls of soup from this pan. The non stick finish is nice. The weigh is solid and the handle is just right.

Non stick coating does not last

After using the saucepan a couple times per week since purchasing it August 2024, about 9 months, I have to say the non stick coating is not holding up well. It is breaking down in the center. This is despite hand washing only with a soft sponge. Cooking is usually with a wooden spoon. Is that the problem? Otherwise I like this little pot, but sadly, I will be looking for another soon.

Induction Pans

The pans I bought are fantastic but the lids are awful. You can't see what you are cooking. I prefer glass lids. I do not like the metal lids.

Popular saucepan size

This pan was delivered in a week. I decided to continue using nonstick because I just prefer it. WS’s handles are excellent because they are comfortable and easy to grip. When I was in the store, even a man in his early 30’s told the salesman that the All-Clad handles “felt wonky”. The lid does stay cool if it’s not a long cook time, and they don’t dribble like my glass lids did. It feels very well-made. In my previous set the 1 qt and 3qt were the sizes I used most, so it was disappointing that all sets these days have 4qt pans rather than 3qt size. Note that the discs on the bottom of the pan do tend to counterweight the pan, which makes it difficult to pour from them because they want to tilt back in the other direction. The pans do heat very evenly so that is great. If you have an induction cooktop, the Thermoclad is perfect, but if you have an electric cooktop, then the discs might not be ideal. High quality nonstick that will last!
