    Summary

Crafted in Valencia, Spain, the birthplace of paella, this pan showcases the traditional Valencian style. The wide, shallow carbon steel cooking surface is designed to sauté meats and vegetables prior to adding rice.

    • Carbon steel construction ensures even heating over the entire cooking surface.
    • Dimples in the base mimic those of traditional Valencian paella pans and encourage uniform heating.
    • The pan's sloped sides make it easier to stir ingredients.
    • Large red loop handles make it easy to carry the pan from oven to table for serving.
    • Made in Spain.

    Use & Care

    • Ideal for use on all cooktops.
    • To season, reheat the oven to 350°F. Apply a thick layer of cooking oil to the inside and outside of the paella pan. Place the pan in the oven and heat for 30 to 35 minutes or until the pan has a golden color. Remove the paella pan from the oven, using potholders, and allow it to cool before using.

    Care

    • Allow pan to cool before washing.
    • Hand-wash.
    • Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents.
    • To remove stubborn food residue, fill cookware with small amount of water and place over low heat until food is softened and easily removed.

    17" Paellera

Nice size, fits well on a 22" Weber Grill. Perfect for 8-10 person recipes.

Good value, but could have been better.

The pan is not totally flat, so it is sub-optimal for an electric stove top. That said, it made pretty good paella at my house. I suspect that it is best suited for use on a gas stove or over some other kind of open flame. Considering the price, this is a deficiency I can live with.

    Inferior

I bought this for paella. But my rice got stuck onto the pan even after having seasoned it 2x before using. I was disappointed that I haven’t use it again.

    Worst. Pan. Ever.

Followed the instructions perfectly and it was still a disaster. Pan has a center hot spot that burns no matter what you do. Finish came off after 1 use. First Williams Sonoma product that has failed me - and it failed epically. Do not buy. MIL is beside herself thinking we ingested most of the finish from the pan since it’s clearly not there anymore after one use.

    Worst Paella Pan

It burn badly and hard to clean. I have never had this experience with other paella pans. I brought it back to Williams Sonoma. They gave me a full refund and were so apologetic. Great customer service.
